An innovative collaboration with Peter McKinnon, the Chroma VND/PL Filter is a revolutionary tool designed to enhance your photography experience. This unique filter combines the functionality of a Variable Neutral Density (VND) filter and a Polarizer, providing a seamless solution to reduce glare, reflections, and shutter speeds to cinematic levels. The adjustable polarizer delivers a crisp, clean image, while the VND feature allows you to fine-tune exposure for outdoor shooting. This filter is crafted with our all-new Chroma Glass, a groundbreaking material that enables us to integrate a Polarizer into the Variable ND, resulting in exceptional neutral color accuracy. The VND/PL filter also comes with optional 1/4 Black Mist or 1/8 Gold Mist variations, adding a subtle diffusion to surrounding highlights. The built-in polarizer in the VND rotates independently, allowing you to adjust from no polarization to full polarization, providing you with complete control over your image's appearance. The Chroma Series Glass, a new glass formula, produces unrivaled color accuracy and allows us to combine a Polarizer with a Variable ND into a single filter. The VND/PL filter enables you to fine-tune your custom level of polarization, ranging from fully off to maximum polarization. The 3-in-1 setup of the VND/PL Black Mist combines a Polarizer, VND, and 1/4 Black Mist into a single filter element, eliminating the need for stacking multiple filters. This setup creates a unique look that incorporates subtle halation around areas of highlight while retaining deep black shadows. The VND/PL Gold Mist variation combines a Polarizer, VND, and 1/4 Gold Mist into one filter, creating a warming effect on highlights by blooming them slightly gold. The filter also features haptic feedback, allowing you to feel each VND stop lock into place, making it easier to rotate the polarizer without moving the VND. The Defender360 provides unmatched protection with a full 360-degree encasement, offering the highest level of filter protection available, whether it's on-camera or stowed away in your bag. The VND feature works to reduce lighting, enabling you to shoot at double frame rate to capture motion naturally with an added subtle blur. It's also ideal for capturing long exposure photography. The Polarizer gives you full control of reflections on various surfaces, from the ground and windows to vehicles and water. The Black Mist feature creates a smooth and subtle highlight roll-off, blooming light sources while retaining deep shadow detail. The Gold Mist feature adds a hint of warmth to your image, creating a filmic look. With this 6-in-1 filter, you can enjoy the benefits of multiple filters without the need for stacking, resulting in zero vignetting, a lower profile, faster setup speed, and filter swaps. It also means fewer filters to carry, reducing bag weight and freeing up more space.
