‘Lone Fighter’ is a unique silk pocket square inspired by the ultimate iconic aircraft, the Spitfire. It has been created in collaboration with contemporary artist Richard Knight. Medium-size, 33 x 33cm (also available in full-size, 42 x 42cm). Richard's original acrylic on canvas work used for the pocket square design features the Mk IX Spitfire, the most produced Spitfire variant originally introduced in 1942. Printed in Macclesfield England, the artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse sides of the silk pocket square to work perfectly with any pocket square fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s tangerine orange border and pale blue hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. 'Lone Fighter' comes tissue-wrapped in a complimentary branded gift box. AAA quality Mulberry silk is woven into 16oz silk twill to give the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as to ensure that the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk twill is smooth and is 60gsm. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-sewn hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape. Made in England. Silk 100%
