Solartwatch - sunseeker This solar watch with a bog oak case and watchband has integrated solar cells, that stay energetic at night and is always ready to stroll around the houses with you. The round body combined with the minimalistic solar rings integrated into the design make its appearance a highlight at any time of day or night. SOLAR MOVEMENT: Solar cells underneath the dial convert light into electrical energy and store it in a secondary battery. Therefore this watch does not need a silver oxide battery - no battery changes are needed. FIRST USE OF THE WATCH: Before you use the watch the first time, charge it at least 5 hours in sunlight or 2 days in normal daylight (please make sure, the wristwatch does not overheat). The running time is then approximimately 4 months. Charging regular intervals is necessary to ensure a smooth function. A complete discharge over a longer period of time can damage the cell memory. When the second hand starts to at two-second-intervals, this is a signal that the energy is beginning to run out. Wood adapts to its ambient climate. In humid environments or in direct contact with water, wood absorbs moisture and expands. Therefore, you should always remove the watch or glasses when showering or swimming or during other longer contact with water. Short term contact with water is harmless. If necessary, you can care for your wooden watch or wooden glasses with a dirt and water repellent oil (eg. chamomile oil or linseed oil).
