The RTZ is remarkably stable for a blade-style, tour-caliber wedge, thanks to Cleveland's ZipCore technology. By replacing heavier material in the heel and hosel areas with a lightweight, low-density material, this proprietary core technology shifts the CG towards the center of the face and redistributes discretionary weight to the head's perimeter. Essentially, ZipCore infuses the MOI benefits of a larger perimeter-weighted offering into a player-preferred tour-size profile and corrects the heel-biased sweet spot traditionally found in wedges. While all tour-level wedges generate virtually the same amount of spin in pristine conditions, the numbers inherently decline when foreign substances prevent a clean strike.
