The Cisco STACK-T4-3M is a 3-meter (9.84 ft) Type 3 data stacking cable purpose-built for Cisco Catalyst 9200 and 9200L Series switches running StackWise-160 and StackWise-80 architectures. Using this cable, network administrators can stack up to eight Catalyst 9200 Series switches in a physical ring topology, creating a single virtual switch with up to 160 Gbps of stack bandwidth, a unified control plane, and centralized management across up to 384 access ports. The 3-meter length provides the flexibility to connect switches across adjacent rack units, across multiple U-spaces, or between nearby cabinets in enterprise branch, campus, and data center wiring closet deployments. Built on Cisco IOS XE with SSO (Stateful Switchover) support, the stack automatically elects an active and standby switch for continuous operation even if the active switch fails. The cable supports hot-swappable field replacement with no downtime. Stacking cables are sold separately and are not backward compatible with Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series switches. Compatible with C9200-STACK-KIT and C9200L-STACK-KIT adapters.
